Hi-Lite Decorating and Property Maintenance believe that a good job can only be achieved with thorough preparation along with fast, efficient work because that results in a beautiful, durable and long-lasting finish.
When we put together an estimate or a quote we provide you with a price and an anticipated duration of a job, we don’t simply estimate the cost of paint and labour. Our painters and decorators carry out a thorough inspection and identify potential problem areas that will affect the finish.
We’ll carry out minor repairs to the home before we start painting or papering, including re-grouting, caulking, plastering and woodwork repairs such as filling and sanding, along with any joinery work where necessary. We ensure that all the surfaces to be painted are properly prepared, sanded, cleaned and primed. This professional level of attention to detail is vital for an outstanding result, and this is the level of quality and care that you get from us as standard.
Once all the preparations have been done will we start the work, be it painting, papering or tiling. We have extensive experience in both interior and exterior decorating and where required we can provide the necessary scaffolding or cherry pickers to enable us to reach all parts of the job. All our staff are fully trained and insured for working at heights.

Redecorating Your Home
We take great pride in being able to complete a job within tight deadlines. We will discuss the timeline with you prior to commencing a job and if necessary we will use additional staff to ensure we meet your timescale wherever possible. On a few occasions clients timelines have been a little optimistic, in these cases we will always discuss this with you prior to commencing the job to ensure you are fully aware of a realistic projection based on our years of experience as painting and decorating specialists.
Our business is based in Littlehampton, but we have clients including sales and letting agents, residential care and nursing homes, nurseries, landlords and private homeowners throughout West Sussex. We have been working with many of these clients for years and have built up a long term professional relationship with them. In addition we also have numerous satisfied homeowners, retail and commercial clients, and even a church. These satisfied customers have called on us to do any number of painting and decorating jobs, everything from refreshing tired and damaged paintwork to complete redecoration. We also do full service property maintenance and renovations.
